The Potter’s Clay International Women’s Retreat is hosted by MYJOY CHRISTIAN FAMILY MINISTRIES (CFM), a subsidiary of MYJOY Group, LLC. MYJOY CFM is a Christian organization dedicated to strengthening and serving families by: providing Christian Counseling, specializing in marriage counseling; providing Biblical instruction and positive interaction with other Christian families through workshops, seminars, retreats, and fellowships; serving as a resource center of Christian instructional books, tapes, counselors and instructors and encouraging families to positively impact their sphere of influence by role modeling and discipleship.

The Potter’s Clay International Women’s Retreat was birthed out of a relationship between First Church of God, Angle Street in Bermuda and Pastors Dorion and Joy Morgan of New Jersey (visit www.restorationstation.org). In January of 2007, the beautiful women of First Church of God asked Pastor Joy to host a women’s retreat for them in New Jersey and Pastor Joy was honored to do so. The Lord impressed upon Pastor Joy that this retreat would be a time that women would come together, from Bermuda and the U.S., to be released into their God-given potential for greatness. The theme for that weekend was based in Jeremiah 18:1-10, which deals with the Potter, the Clay, and the Wheel. In June of 2007, over 100 women came together in Mt. Laurel, NJ and were immensely blessed by the presence and power of God.

It was clear to Pastor Joy and the ladies of Bermuda that this retreat should become an annual event. So the second annual Potter’s Clay International Women’s Retreat reconvened in June of 2008. The theme for that weekend was “Armed and Dangerous”. Interestingly enough, after so many were blessed the previous year, there were only half the number of registrants in attendance than the previous year. It was prophesied during the retreat that God had called only a small remnant that year to hear the Word of the Lord. It was further prophesied by Bishop Ron Scott, one of the speakers during the retreat that year, that the number of attendees would double the next year, and the retreat would continue to experience tremendous growth over the coming years.

In June of 2009, the retreat more than doubled in registrants, with over 200 women coming to experience “The Dawning of A New Day”. Women attended not just from the local area, but 13 states were represented in addition to the usual contingency from Bermuda. Not only did the conference grow numerically, but also in scope as we hosted nationally recognized pastor and preacher Bishop Joby Brady as one of our guest preachers. We also added vendors, breakout sessions, and more speakers.

In June 2010, we experienced what happens in the presence of God “When Women Worship”. There was a powerful move of God that weekend, and we were tremendously blessed by the ministry of nationally recognized preacher, Pastor Sheryl Brady of the River Church in Durham, NC as well as Pastor William Murphy of the Dream Center Church in Atlanta, Ga.

In June 2011, we learned how to “Walk Like A Lady” under the guidance of Pastor Mary Searight and Prophetess Marcia Morrison. We also hosted our first annual Leading Ladies Award Luncheon in which we honored several women for their various achievements in the area of pastoral ministry, community service, business and music.

In 2012, we are declaring that we are “Destined for Greatness”.  We will be equipped by awesome men and women of God with the necessary tools to reach our God-given destinies. If you are ready for the great, you don’t want to miss this life-changing weekend.
